Radio Mia: fundación contra el silencio de la radio en Venezuela

Representantes de diversos gremios profesionales, periodistas y trabajadores de las radios en Venezuela, que cesaron sus transmisiones por orden de Conatel se reunieron este miércoles para realizar una asamblea constitutiva de la Fundación la Radio es Mía.
Desde la fundación cultural Chacao,al este de Caracas, el impulsor de Radio es Mía, Juan José Bartolomeo, vicepresidente de relaciones institucionales de CNB explicó que “hoy es un día muy importante, dentro de la tormenta que estamos viviendo donde se están cercenando los derechos al libre trabajo, pensamiento y libertad de expresión en el país. Hacer vida para que nos encontremos”.
“Esta fundación busca saber quienes somos, donde estamos, cuanto somos y emprender una serie de acciones para que todos los que trabajamos en la radio no los dueños de los medios, sino de todos los trabajadores”, destacó.
La iniciativa del Colegio Nacional de Periodistas responde a la ofensiva del gobierno nacional que removió la concesión a 34 emisoras radiales durante el fin de semana
Durante el acto,la periodista de CNB Marisabel Parraga anunció la creación de la ONG como respuesta ante la salida del aire de 34 emisoras durante el fin de semana por orden del gobierno del presidente Hugo Chávez.
“La invitación es llevar la radio a la calle (…) La creación de la ONG la radio es mía es la forma de respuesta al gobierno porque la radio es cercana y cálida y va a poner en su corazón, su animo para hacer la mejor radio que hayamos hecho en Venezuela”, dijo Párraga.
La locutora y periodista Isa Dobles aseguró que le tienen “miedo” a la radio porque a través de ese medio se usa la voz para ayudar a las personas. “Esa es la radio, señaló.
